Requirements

  • Currently in a Bachelor's, Masters, or Doctoral degree program with an emphasis in a technical field such as Electrical, Power Systems, or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Mathematics/Physics, or other related degree is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong written and verbal English language communication skills
  • We conduct pre-employment drug and background screening
  • What is Preferred:
  • Educational focus on Renewable Energy Engineering preferred

Responsibilities

  • Working in a diverse, multi-disciplinary, collaborative team spanning the US and Canada
  • Supporting energy storage project developers and battery manufacturers by reviewing their products and projects
  • Organizing customer provided data sets to support reporting and analysis
  • Sifting through confidential technical specifications and contracts to extract meaningful insights for internal and external analysis and presentations
  • Reviewing financial models of energy storage projects to understand how they are financed
  • Evaluating energy storage degradation, efficiency, availability and other performance specifications for alignment with contractual requirements and industry expectations
  • Assessing new energy storage technologies for market viability
  • Supporting microgrid and mini grid rural electrification development projects
  • Supporting production work, including, but not limited to: report writing, remote troubleshooting, and critical review
  • Developing tools and processes to continuously improve quality and value of delivery
