Education Required:
Pursuing a BS degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related field
Have an active student status and/or within 12 months post-graduation from a degree program.
Candidate must be eligible to work on a full-time basis during the internship duration (40 hours/week)
Commitment for a 6 month co-op
Candidate must be eligible to work in the US at the time of, and for the duration of, their employment. Employees will be required to furnish evidence of US work authorization
3.0 or greater cumulative GP
Responsibilities
Compilation and analysis of machine breakdown data
Preparation of small to medium value project investment proposals
Root cause analysis investigations of process abnormalities & breakdowns
Implementing actions to improve workplace safety
Management & scheduling of preventative maintenance
Identification of energy efficiency opportunities
Implementation of machinery safety initiatives such as interlocks & guarding to improve operator safety.
Preparation of compliance status reports
Working with internal customers & stakeholders across all levels at site
