  • Currently an undergraduate studying Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace), on track to achieve a 2:1 or above, with Maths A-Level Grade C or above.
  • Technically proficient with experience in reading and creating engineering drawings and reports.
  • Experience with CAD packages, preferably NX.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and quality problem-solving tools.
  • Team-oriented with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Adaptable and responsive to change, with strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, trialing and implementing new technologies.
  • Supporting quality investigations, providing robust containment actions, and conducting root cause analysis to ensure corrective actions.
  • Assisting in new product introductions and preparing new capabilities for production.
  • Creating design schemes, including CAD models, assemblies, and 2D drawings for concept and detailed designs.
  • Performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on complex components to support concept and detailed design.
  • Participating in test rig design, commissioning, and system testing.
