Responsibilities

  • Program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC systems using ladder logic
  • Troubleshoot electrical circuits and control loops
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate various types of field instrumentation (i.e. pressure transmitters, RTD’s, load cells, etc.) and their interface to the control system
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop automation solutions
  • Conduct system testing and validation
  • Assist with process line improvements/optimization and other special projects as assigned
  • Provide technical support and training to other team members
  • Maintain a good understanding of controls/electronic technology, developments and apply this knowledge in support of a continuous improvement effort
