Requirements

  • Technology background or applicable technology skills
  • Demonstrated technical or creative writing skills, able to translate complex ideas into understandable user stories
  • Customer service orientation with demonstrated experience building strong relationships with internal or external stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Python/R or other statistical programming languages
  • Familiarity with data exploration and data visualization tools like Tableau, Jupyter, Power BI, etc.
  • Currently working toward a bachelor’s degree with a major in Information Systems Management, Informatics, Data Science, or Data Analytics or similar degree
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization and provide full availability for the entire program duration
  • Must be able to provide your own housing and transportation during the internship
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program

Responsibilities

  • Be the “Voice of the Customer” by working with our stakeholders to understand their most important needs and problems
  • Data analysis and reporting to capture KPIs, service utilization, and inform change enablement activities
  • Work with product owners and senior business analysts in areas such as team backlog management, documentation, user stories and end user training
  • Monitor changes to program backlog and communicate with senior business analysts to determine impacts to team backlog, sprint, or iteration
  • Help collect business requirements, perform analysis and document user stories
  • Evaluate the delivered stories against the definition of done and the established acceptance criteria
  • Participate in assigned projects
