Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, from an accredited university
  • Eagerness to learn and apply new technical skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ideally, you’ll also have:
  • Up to 2 years of experience in data science or a related field, including academic projects or internships specifically focusing on data analytics; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic proficiency with Python, R, or other programming languages.
  • Strongly preferred knowledge of Palantir
  • Understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Knowledge of or exposure to Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau and PowerBI

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will contribute towards Jacobs’ competitive advantage through analytics and data science, supporting both internal projects and external client requirements. Ideal candidates are early-career professionals or recent graduates with a foundational skill set in data management, statistics, programming languages, keen on exploring business process engineering and system integration. This position offers the chance to be involved in a wide range of analytical services, from basic data processing to complex, interactive decision-support systems tailored to client needs.
  • Candidates are expected to exhibit a strong interest in the field of data and analytics, showing enthusiasm for developing new data practices/systems and identifying business opportunities. The role necessitates effective interaction with internal teams and clients, providing strategic insights and solutions within the defined project or organizational parameters.
