Responsibilities

  • As the successful candidate, you will have the chance to learn and develop your knowledge and skills alongside internationally renowned specialists within our state-of-the-art equine hospital in Gloucestershire.
  • You will work as part of a team of 4 or 5 hospital interns and alongside an experienced team of equine vets, including 9 Diploma holders with specialisms in surgery, medicine, imaging, sports medicine, anaesthesia and dentistry.
  • The hospital is busy with a wide and varied caseload and benefits from cutting edge facilities and equipment.
  • Out-of-hours hospital duties will be shared equally on a 1 in 4 or 1 in 5 rota, depending on the time of year.
  • Out of hours you will be supported by two nurses/patient care assistants as well as a senior medicine clinician and surgeon.
