Requirements

  • Previous internship or comparable experience in sports marketing or related field
  • Solid understanding of college athletics, particularly the ACC and SEC
  • Cover letter required as part of the application process
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a professional or organizational role
  • Marketing and/or channel marketing related experience, particularly with athletics department
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Google Suite
  • Education:
  • Enrolled as a junior, senior or graduate student in an accredited college/university in the semester prior to the internship or graduated within the past 6 months
  • Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Program
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization

Responsibilities

  • If selected for this role, the intern will report to the Manager, Sports Marketing and will support the team by:
  • Communicating with Media and creative partners, assisting in the scheduling and delivery of creative materials
  • Collaborating on marketing efforts with various internal and external stakeholders, including Social Media and Programming
  • Promotion management and outreach to partner school organizations
  • Facilitating and assisting in content and footage gathering, music clearances, and creative archive management
  • Driving creative deliverables and timelines to ensure work is finished, delivered, and trafficked on time
  • Partnering with team in development of marketing briefs to internal and external partners in support of priority initiatives, content, and creative development from inception to approvals and execution
  • Working with the Customer Relationship Management team to track performance of all digital media efforts and using key performance metrics in creation of digital campaigns
