Requirements

Interior Design education or experience required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and an analytical skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of programs
Preferred Qualification:
Autocad
Archibus
Adobe suite of programs
Ability to create space plans and other architectural documents
Presentation document experience

Responsibilities

The department has launched an initiative to optimize furniture usage and placement on the lot. The intern will work closely with the department, inter-department staff, and the project's lead.
Tasks will include but are not limited to:
Furniture Verification and Selection – Document all outdoor furniture to be replaced including verifying quantities and selecting options
Furniture and Equipment Programming – Meet with a business unit representative to document furniture and equipment requirements
Space Planning – Create missing furniture layout options for the conference center, verify existing furniture, and determine any shortfalls based on all layouts
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
