  • You're currently an undergraduate student in the UK, on a sandwich course seeking a Finance Placement between your 2nd and 3rd year.
  • You have a good understanding of accounting principles and enjoy working with spreadsheets.
  • You're a team player who's eager to learn and ask questions. We love curious minds!
  • You're organised, detail-oriented, and can meet deadlines.
  • We know you're still a student, so we've tailored this role to be perfect for someone starting out. You won't be expected to be an expert, but we're looking for someone with a willingness to learn and a keen interest to pursue a career in Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the team with keeping track of project costs for new buildings in the UK and Europe: this means understanding how budgets are set, how costs are tracked, and how to identify any areas where things might be going off track.
  • Help to prepare financial reports and presentations, making sure the numbers all add up! You'll learn how to use financial data to tell a story, making sure everything is clear, concise, and easy to understand.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies where you'll track down missing information, identify any errors, and get things back on the right track.
  • Get involved with different tasks across the finance department from the preparation of investor and lender reporting to partnering with internal and external stakeholders, you'll get a taste of the many different things that go into keeping a company's finances healthy.
