Requirements

  • Based in the New York Metropolitan Area
  • College student currently (preferably Junior or Senior)
  • Interest in events and conferences
  • This person will also be highly detail-oriented, possess strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication/negotiation skills, and will be able to work in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; as well as Google docs
  • Ability to learn new tools, such as Forbes project management tool, Smartsheet

Responsibilities

  • Serves as support for the ForbesLive core sub teams including Audience & Community Marketing, Logistics, Production, Programming and Sponsorship
  • Help build audience marketing strategies as well as execute live marketing across channels: email, newsletters, strategic partners, house ads, organic and paid social
  • Support copywriting needs
  • Build landing pages for events via Wordpress and registration modules via Bizzabo (Forbes ticketing platform)
  • Work with marketing and sales on relevant client materials
  • Willingness to travel to events as needed, along with being available for events at Forbes event space in New York, Forbes on Fifth; assist with onsite registration and other relevant on-site needs working closely with the logistics team
  • Works with event staff on day-of execution of ForbesLive events
  • Help facilitate customer service needs as it relates to our event attendee questions
  • Work across audience and community marketing team to optimize event reporting and database management
  • Administrative support for ForbesLive leadership team
  • Collaborate across revenue teams to coordinate project needs
