Requirements

  • Current student pursuing a BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field and graduating on ’25 school year or beyond.
  • Developing technical skills and area of study towards, but not limited to, analog and/or digital electronics, C/C++, Python, Linux/Windows operating systems.
  • Right to work in the US without requiring Western Digital to commence or sponsor an immigration case in order to employ you (for example, H-1B or other employment-based immigration case).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in SSD, flash, semiconductor, components, nonvolatile memory industry.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Senior Level Systems Design Verification Engineers in the execution of validation efforts on Enterprise SSD devices.
  • Conduct first level triage and analysis of failures encountered during testing and work with key stakeholders to drive to resolution.
  • Review NVMe SSD validation requirements from customer/architecture specs and influence future WD product design for debug and test.
  • Research and implement innovative ways to test/validate NVMe SSD’s.
