Requirements

  • You are currently enrolled in a university or college program in a relevant discipline, such as Computer science or software engineering or similar field
  • Understanding of programming languages, databases, code management tools
  • You are well versed with Angular, React and have reasonable exposure to API integrations (NGRX or Nx)
  • Confidence in your ability to communicate verbally and written in a detailed and impactful way
  • A self-starter mindset with a drive for continuous learning – you have a natural ability to pick up new technology – you enjoy learning about new tools, technology, applications and how they work
  • Prior co-op experience in similar roles is an asset (i.e., Full Stack Developer Intern, Software Development Intern)
  • Prior experience with the following technical software is an asset:
  • HTML5, CSS3, SASS or LESS
  • Bootstrap
  • Foundation or Materialize
  • Although not required, you have some familiarity or previous experience with the following:
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and processes.
  • Knowledge of Security in web platform such as WebAuthN and/or OAuth2
  • Experience with DevOps tools and processes.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills along with strong analysis and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Working with lead and senior development leaders to understanding business requirements and translate them into design specifications and code
  • Designing solutions, writing code, performing unit testing, developing appropriate artifacts/documentation, and facilitating final delivery
  • Developing front-end web applications in Angular 12+
  • Brainstorming web page ideas with other developers and cross-functional teams using wireframing tools
  • Creating and maintaining relevant technical documentation
  • Working with test teams and supporting them in functional and performance testing
  • Building fully functioning components using Angular 15+ with unit and e2e tests.
  • Submit changes for a production system following best practices for front-end development
  • Prepare documentation (code documentation, user guide) and present completed projects/features to the team
