What are the eligibility requirements for the internship?
Candidates must be second year undergraduate students on an industrial placement year course returning to study in Autumn 2026, have the right to work in the UK, be available to start full-time from June 2025, and demonstrate a genuine interest in the area they are applying for.
What roles are available within the Graphic and Digital Design internship?
There are three main areas available: Graphic Design and Illustration, Branding, Packaging and Retail Design, and User Experience (UX) Design.
How many days a week will I be required to work onsite?
You will be required to be onsite 4 days a week.
What software skills are preferred for applicants?
Strong interest and skills in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Figma, typography, and general illustration are preferred.
What should applicants include in their cover letter?
Applicants should explain why they have chosen Disney, why they are interested in this internship, and why Disney should consider them for the role, in approximately 400 words.
Is there a fixed closing date for applications?
No, there are no fixed closing dates as applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. It is recommended to apply sooner rather than later.
What is the salary for the internship?
The annual salary for the internship is £23,500, plus 25 days of holiday and bank holidays.
What kind of training and support can interns expect?
Interns will receive on-the-job training, access to companywide learning and development initiatives, and will have support from a large community of interns.
Will I have access to any perks or discounts?
Yes, interns will be entitled to discounts on designated Disney products, resort food & beverage, and ticketing.
How long will it take to hear back after submitting an application?
