The Hydrogeologist Intern will support the team's hydrogeologists by assisting coordination efforts with ADEQ, EPA, and other federal, state, and local agencies and private entities and would review groundwater withdrawal permits and Notice of Intents (NOI)s to drill, abandon, replace, deepen, or modify a well applications.This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.The State of Arizona strives for a work culture that affords employees flexibility, autonomy, and trust.
