Responsibilities

  • The selected candidate will join HERE’s Trust Foundation — Identity & Access Management (IAM) team who manage several technology services that supply authentication and authorization management capabilities to HERE business personnel.
  • For authentication, Trust IAM maintains HERE’s Single Sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) capabilities.
  • We also administer the platforms that allow HERE teams to differentiate access within their technology systems.
  • The person in this role will participate in the team’s operations, largely taking direction from the team’s more senior members to contribute productively, but always developing competence to execute independently along the way.
  • A Security Engineer intern is presumed to join HERE with very limited practical experience in the information security space.
  • This person will observe their team’s operations and projects, and volunteer to participate in their execution, exhibiting attention to detail, reliability, and pride of quality in all of their efforts.
  • The most successful Security Engineer intern resources learn fast and seek to execute tasks as independently as possible, confident they’ll be supported directly by more senior team members.
