Responsibilities

  • The post holder will be responsible for providing IG support services to the Head of Information Governance / Data Protection Officer relating to all aspects of Information Governance, ensuring the Trust's compliance with data protection legislation and to improve data protection awareness amongst staff.
  • The post holder will provide day-to-day administrative support for the IG team to ensure the team runs efficiently and effectively. This includes, monitoring shared team mailboxes, collating and requesting information for assessments, investigations and the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT).
  • The post holder will be responsible for producing reports for presentation at the relevant Trust’s assurance and monitoring groups, including the minute taking and preparing of the Information Governance Performance Group and will also support the IG Team in relation to general IG queries.
