Responsibilities

  • The Cyber Defense team is a specialized and collaborative group focused on safeguarding an organization's digital assets from cyber threats. Comprising experts in network security, threat intelligence, incident response, and vulnerability management, the team actively identifies, mitigates, and responds to potential security risks. Through the use of advanced tools and methodologies, they monitor network traffic, prevent unauthorized access, and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical data. Constantly adapting to emerging threats, the team fortifies the organization's defenses, enforces security policies, and plays a pivotal role in maintaining a resilient security posture, instilling confidence in stakeholders regarding the protection of sensitive information.
  • Support the Cyber Defense team’s Operational Readiness. This position’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist with the triage of threats and vulnerabilities that could potentially impact GT.
  • Provide necessary analysis of potential threats and create awareness communications as needed.
  • Communicate threat and risk related issues across the organization as per established communication procedures.
  • Contribute to operational management activities, ensuring the efficiency of cyber defense operations and coordinating renewals for essential tools and services.
  • Collaborate with the Cyber Defense team to streamline internal processes and optimize resource utilization, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of cybersecurity workflows and effectiveness.
