What is the duration of the internship?
The internship duration will be six months from the date of joining.
What degree is required to apply for this intern position?
Applicants must have a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering or must be in their final year of engineering without any backlog subjects.
Is there a minimum percentage requirement in academics to apply?
Yes, a minimum of 65% aggregate throughout academics is required.
What CAD software should candidates be familiar with?
Candidates should have knowledge of any of the CAD tools such as SolidWorks (preferred), AutoCAD, Solid Edge, or Creo.
What kind of projects will interns work on?
Interns will work on the design of mechanical power transmission products, including Couplings, Torque limiters, Locking Assemblies, and Gearboxes, among others.
Will there be any training provided during the internship?
Yes, all interns will undergo both classroom and on-the-job training programs to gain practical exposure to various global functional areas and understand various lean methods and techniques to improve productivity.
Are there any assessments involved in the selection process?
Yes, candidates applying for the intern position will take technical and aptitude tests. Shortlisted candidates will undergo technical and HR interviews for selection.
Is knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) required?
Yes, familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) is preferred.
What will happen after the successful completion of the internship?
After successfully completing the internship, candidates will be given priority for any open Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) positions across teams.
