The intern will perform experiments related to the development of new or improved Werfen products in the R&D laboratory, using automated instruments and human whole blood and plasma.

Yes, the intern is expected to follow good laboratory practices, particularly regarding the handling of bloodborne pathogens, and is responsible for keeping and maintaining a lab notebook as trained.
What level of supervision will the intern receive?
The intern will receive moderate supervision while being involved in the day-to-day activities of the team, aiding other departments as they relate to department projects.
What are the expected outcomes of the internship?
The intern is expected to gain an in-depth knowledge of the product and its associated processes, and will have the opportunity to assist in nearly all aspects of the workflow.
