Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related program
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited Co-operative education program at an Ontario university or college
  • Strong understanding of MS Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with SQL and DAX.
  • Experience with Visual Basics is considered an asset.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent proactive communication skills to collaborate with team members to convey progress, obstacles and opportunities.
  • Self-motivated and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • We are looking for a Business Application Developer Co-op who will support the end-to-end operational transformation team. As a co-op, you will work closely with the team to support development and enhancement of SCM tools and applications using MS Power Platform and Java, that impact key functional departments and across customer journeys. You will help develop internal controls and management reporting to monitor and measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives. You will support the planning, development, and implementation of operational excellence strategies. Example work areas will include:
  • Provide agile changes to SCM tools and processes using MS Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited Co-operative education program at an Ontario university or college
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, ideate, develop, test, and deploy solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.
  • Assist in the troubleshooting and maintenance of existing applications.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in application development.
  • Provide effective and easy to reference documentations.
