Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Business, Commerce, Mathematics, Operations, or a related field
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited Co-operative education program at an Ontario university or college
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to dissect complex processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent proactive communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and convey complex ideas clearly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on analytical and process mapping tools such as Excel and Visio
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) is a plus
  • Self-motivated and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • We are looking for a Business Process Analyst Co-op who will support the end-to-end operational transformation team. As a co-op, you will work closely with the team to support process analysis and enhancement with key functional departments and across customer journeys. You will help develop internal controls and management reporting to monitor and measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives. You will support the planning, development, and implementation of operational excellence strategies. Example work areas will include:
  • Analyze end-to-end business processes within the supply chain to identify areas for improvement and optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define business process improvements
  • Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, and documentation to support process analysis and improvement efforts
  • Assist in the implementation and deployment of process improvement initiatives
  • Support the monitoring and measurement of key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of process improvements
