Requirements

  • Current student, pursuing a BS or MS degree (Computer Science/Electrical Engineering), and graduating between December 2024 and June 2025
  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong technical skills in area of study
  • Interest in eSSD, flash, semiconductor, components, nonvolatile memory industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong C/C++ development skills. Python scripting

Responsibilities

  • Coding, debugging and integrating firmware, as well as the integration, regression and requirement testing of complex software and hardware systems within an agile development environment and par of a multi-site/multi-disciplinary team
  • Developing, implementing, verifying and debugging ssd firmware features in domains such as ssd host interfaces such as pcie (peripheral component interconnect express), non-volatile memory express (nvme), serial ata, ftl management, nand flash management, caching and development/test infrastructure.
  • Designing and implementing fe (front end) functional modules within the ssd firmware system.
  • Debugging embedded systems using tools such as logic and protocol analyzers and jtag, and validating designs within the entire ssd firmware system.
  • Performing failure analysis and performance tuning
  • Engaging and interacting with other firmware function teams that span all aspects of ssd firmware design and following the development process, procedures and workflows closely
  • Providing embedded systems and embedded firmware development in c++ and c and arm based socs
