Responsibilities

  • Support in improving the energy efficiency of the fleet through onboard and shore support in terms of fuel optimization and performance enhancement.
  • Support the development and maintenance of the energy dashboards database.
  • Manage and evaluate issues in collaboration with the ship's management with regard to energy efficiency key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support interface development and backend algorithms relevant to operational excellence.
  • Work closely with the Fleet Energy Performance Manager and other internal departments.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize energy efficiency through the use of new and existing technologies and/or operational excellence practices in the areas of mechanical, electrical and hydrodynamics, among others.
  • Support the development of a long-term energy technology investment strategy for the company, in line with the Net Zero initiative and carbon reduction regulations.
