Responsibilities

  • Communicate regularly with different functions across Aflac Global Investments with emphasis on front office portfolio managers, trading, data management, risk, technology, as well as other functional areas of the firm, in support of advancing the Business Intelligence team.
  • Assist in optimizing processes and technology, driving automation of portfolio analytics and reporting, and create dashboard using programming applications (ie. MS Co-Pilot).
  • Assist in developing robust data warehouse, with business rules and definitions, to ensure data integrity across portfolio management reporting and analytics and how this information is used to make investment decisions.
  • Portfolio data analytics and assessment, along with identifying key trends and changes within the portfolio.
  • Summarize and present data and commentary in a visual interesting power point presentation/materials covering global portfolio performance and updates for senior investment committees, Aflac Board, as well as, external audiences, including rating agencies.
  • Monitor and assess relevant investment data to support investment decisions.
  • Participate in company/department wide meetings throughout the summer.
  • Written and verbal presentations to assorted stakeholders.
