What is the duration of the Intern - Human Resources position?
The internship will begin in the Fall of 2024, with the potential for continuation through the Spring semester of 2025.
What are the core responsibilities of the HR Intern?
Core duties include monitoring the HR department email inbox, supporting completion and audits for form I-9, providing recruiting support, maintaining the human resource information system, assisting with onboarding, researching HR best practices, supporting employee events and training sessions, responding to unemployment insurance notices, and maintaining supplies in Club breakrooms.
Are there specific educational requirements for this internship?
The ideal candidate will be currently or recently enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate degree program with an interest in Human Resources or a related field. Alternatively, candidates with one to two years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience are also encouraged to apply.
Is it necessary to speak Spanish for this internship?
While not mandatory, candidates with the ability to speak Spanish are preferred.
What are the work hours for the HR Intern position?
The business hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, with a maximum of 30 hours per week.
