What is the duration of the internship program?
The internship program will run from May 25 to September 25, depending on the individual’s University Academic Calendar.
Is housing provided for interns?
No, all selected interns will be required to obtain their own housing, travel, and transportation accommodations for the full duration of the internship program.
What department will I be working in?
You will be working in the Information Technology department.
What kind of projects will I be involved in?
You will assist with Business Intelligence (BI) Analytics Initiatives, D365 ERP Implementation Initiatives, and other projects or responsibilities as may be required.
What are the minimum qualifications for this internship?
Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related Software Engineering field, with an expected graduation in 2026 or 2027.
Is prior experience required for the internship?
While not strictly required, proven experience in developing BI visualizations and reporting tools using Power BI, and prior experience with low-code/no-code tools, is preferred.
What is the salary range for the internship?
The base salary range for the internship position is as follows: $22.00/hr for Sophomore/Freshman standing, $23.00/hr for Junior standing, $24.00/hr for Senior standing, and $25.00 to $26.00/hr for current Master’s students.
Will I receive any training during the internship?
Yes, the internship program is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the biotechnology industry and includes hands-on training to develop your skills.
Can I apply if I am a recent graduate?
The internship is primarily aimed at current students enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's programs with expected graduations in 2026 or 2027. Recent graduates may not qualify.
How can I prepare for this internship?
Familiarizing yourself with BI visualization tools, data management practices, and low-code/no-code automation tools will help you prepare for the responsibilities of the internship.
