This is an onsite position located in Clayton, NC.
What is the main focus of the internship?
The main focus of the internship is to support the migration from paper-based production records to electronic systems and assist with the startup and commissioning of a new automation platform.
What qualifications are required for this internship?
Candidates must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, be rising juniors or seniors with plans to return to school in Fall 2025, and have a GPA of at least 3.0.
What skills will the intern be expected to learn?
The intern will learn about Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Electronic Batch Record (EBR) systems, as well as the basics of Emerson DeltaV to support commissioning.
Are there any specific skills that are preferred for this role?
Knowledge in networking and proficiency with computer programming are highly desired, but not required.
Will the intern be working independently or as part of a team?
The intern will work as part of a diverse, cross-functional team to provide technical support and incorporate requirements into design documentation.
Do I need to have my own transportation for this internship?
Yes, transportation to and from the Grifols office in Clayton, NC is required.
