  • The UofL Health Marketing and Communications Department is seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated intern interested in Public Relations. Working under the direction of Director of Public Relations the intern will have opportunities to assist in developing public relations campaigns, storytelling, video production, copy writing, special events and a variety of tasks throughout the entire department. The internship will have an emphasis on all aspects of writing and video production, creating media releases, patient success stories, participating in strategy meetings, participate in media events, writing blogs, copy, media monitoring and other PR related duties.


  • Working toward a degree or a recent graduate in English, Communications, or Marketing.
  • Professional, polished and a team player.
  • Ability to focus on the small details in a large project.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Organized
  • Good with time management and won’t miss a deadline.
