Requirements

  • Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Possession of solid writing skills and business graphic design acumen a plus.
  • Ability to quickly learn common business computer applications (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Suite – InDesign, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage work against tight deadlines with a “can-do attitude.”
  • Solid communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and develop superior deliverables.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will support the SI Sales Enablement and Customer Experience Team with our mission to exceed the expectations of our internal sales and engineering teams by creating, writing, managing, designing, and delivering customer-focused proposals, presentations, graphics, or related documents. You will focus on crafting compelling and succinctly articulate messages to address clients’ specific needs and requirements, as well as bring market-leading strategies to life. To accomplish this, you will work with cross-functional teams that may include sales teams, operation managers, solutions development engineers, cost estimators, technical subject matter experts, marketing, and executive leadership. You will have project timelines and deliverables to assist in meeting team goals and metrics.
  • How you will do it:
  • Using MS Office 365 tools and Adobe Creative Suite, develop customer-facing collateral.
  • Perform research and conduct subject matter expert interviews to gain content that you will edit and improve to create strong customer messages.
  • Support proposal leaders with writing, researching, designing, or improving proposal content related to resumes, project profiles, and other relevant messages.
  • Proactively seek data and information on competitors to ensure market strategies and customer values and differentiators are focal points in proposals, presentations, and related client documents.
  • Assist in developing social media posts for executive leaders and other promotional opportunities.
  • Gather data to support content that delivers compelling, cohesive, concise, creative, and original responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other opportunities-related documents through research and information gathered from interviews with subject matter experts and other Johnson Controls resources.
  • Design and produce computer-generated graphics, charts, tables, multi-media graphics, and text material for visual presentation or for use in proposal documents.
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing customer data and intel.
  • Identify use cases and AI tools to drive efficiency on the team and better share information and collateral across the organization.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
