  • The Enterprise Transaction Processing (ETP) team is the Core of Worldpay. In this system, we authorize and settle billions dollars’ worth of transactions every single day. The authorizations team consists of 15 team members, mainly located in the Cincinnati area, also with some people in Atlanta and Jacksonville. Our team has all rangers of experience, some with just a couple years on the team, all the way up through 30+ years of experience.


  • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study
  • Rising Senior (graduating December 2024 through May 2025)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated and a willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Software Engineering


  • You will be working for the #1 merchant acquirer in the United States, and one of the top merchant acquirer in the world.
  • You will be working on the mainframe authorizations platform, which is a primary transaction processor for merchants such as Kroger, Target, Starbucks, and Wal-Mart – and many others.
  • You will learn about how the authorizations platform works, its impact on Worldpay, and its role in processing transactions across the United States.
  • After some training, you will then learn how to code, test, and implement new functionality into the authorizations system.
  • You will also learn about what products we support, how we as developers are crucial to the design of new products, and how we take the needs of our customers and turn them into new products that help our merchants service their customers.
