Requirements

  • Required qualifications:
  • Enrolled in a degreed program in a technical or STEM related field during the duration of the internship program
  • Working knowledge of of at least one Object Oriented Programming Language (Java, Python Scala, or Kotlin)
  • Demonstrated undertanding of CS fundamentals including but not limited to RESTful APIs, data models, and CI/CD concepts
  • Preferred qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills
  • Solid understanding of basic backend architecture
  • Great debugging and reasoning skills
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to take ownership of your project work

Responsibilities

  • As a Software Engineering intern, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing and deploying new products and services in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
  • Front-end/Web Applications - JavaScript and CSS development for our web applications
  • Our applications are built using React, TypeScript and deployed using CI/CD and leveraging feature flagging to control releases
  • You will work primarily on the Web Interfaces for these applications, which are used by farmers to support the decisions they make on their farms
