The role mission is to manage data security, information systems, instructional technology, research and analysis, software development, project management, and technology operations, while focusing on customer service and industry project management standards.
What type of experience will Summer Interns gain in this position?
Summer Interns will have the opportunity to manage and execute projects alongside district leaders, receive guided project management feedback, and build transferable skills for their collegiate and professional careers.

Intern responsibilities include providing professional support to assigned departments, managing multiple tasks, responding to Help Desk tickets, maintaining data accuracy, analyzing data, supporting project execution, and providing administrative and logistical support.

Candidates must be currently enrolled in college (Spring 2025) and have completed at least one academic semester with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Is there a preference for graduates of any particular schools?
Yes, preference is given to graduates of IDEA Public Schools, although it is not a requirement to be an IDEA alumni.

The compensation for this position is $11.00 per hour.
What are the expected working hours for this internship?
The expected working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Will the intern need to attend in-person events?
Some in-person support may be needed for a few available roles, even though the position is primarily remote.
