Requirements

  • 120 UCAS points (2017 UCAS tariff scale) and predicated 1st or 2i degree
  • We are looking for bright Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or a quantitative-related field, Mechanical, Aerospace, Product Design Engineering (or similar) students for our eleven-week summer internships starting summer 2025
  • Some experience with developing and maintaining moderately complex code bases
  • Some experience with Machine Learning, Deep Learning and statistical modeling tools and libraries such as Pytorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, SciKitLearn, pyspark (in IDEs like PyCharm, RStudio, Jupyter)
  • A real enthusiasm for finding innovative solutions for solving industrial problems (eg: manufacturing or related industry)
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software, or design and manufacturing industries are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Work on real engineering problems with a team of experienced industry professionals
  • Gain knowledge of the complex problems that Autodesk customers solve by using the powerful outcomes delivered by Autodesk software solutions
  • Learn how to automate design and manufacturing processes through development of bespoke applications
  • Help access customer pervasive problems and applicability of using ML as a problem solving tool
