Requirements

  • Required Job Skills:
  • Basic skill in use of office equipment, including copiers, desktop/laptop computers, fax machines, scanner, and telephones.
  • Intermediate PC and Printer proficiency.
  • Basic skill with writing and the entire Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of computer operating systems.
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds and strength / mobility necessary to setup and arrange computer equipment.
  • required Work Experience:
  • · College-level coursework related to computer technology or other related technical field.
  • Required Education:
  • High-School Diploma or GED in general field of study (All Levels)
  • Two years attendance at an accredited school pursuing a degree in computer technology or related technical field.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher

Responsibilities

  • The ideal Test Coordinator Intern will learn more about the BCBS AZ culture, its core business values and impact on the community. In this role you will become proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and Azure DevOps to identify, document and contribute to providing testing status to leadership in the form of testing traceability.
  • Intern:
  • Performs job functions under close supervision or mentor review
  • Expand and develop knowledge through exposure to the roles within the TCoE.
  • Assist in coordinating test efforts for multiple projects simultaneously, helping to ensure proper test coverage for each one.
  • Collaborate with mentors, peers and business teams to coordinate and manage execution of all phases of testing including but not limited to: QA, SIT, E2E, UAT and Performance.
  • Participate in project meetings as needed and work with the project/delivery lead and team to ensure project success.
  • Participate on work teams, contribute to projects and initiatives, and perform various tasks as needed by the TCoE.
  • Learn to identify critical areas of project risk and develop strategies to reduce overall risk.
  • Research, analyze, track, and resolve basic information technology problems.
  • Respond to user requests for service, troubleshoot problems and help develop solutions.
  • Participate in small projects.
  • Assist in maintaining records and process documentation.
  • Provide information to project teams, management, and co-team members by telephone, in written form, e-mail or in person.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
