What is the duration of the internship?
The internship is preferred to last for 6 months, starting at the end of January or early February 2025.
Are there any prerequisites for applying for this internship?
Yes, applicants must be EU nationals or non-EU students enrolled in an EU university, registered as a student for the full duration of the internship, and available full-time.
What academic background is preferred for this internship?
A well-rounded academic background with coursework in finance and/or economics is preferred, with a minimum requirement of a Bachelor of Science degree and Master level preferred from an internationally acclaimed university.
What language skills are necessary for this internship?
Fluency in English is required, along with excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English.
What skills are important for a candidate applying to this internship?
Candidates should have advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, the ability to read balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow statements, and the capability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
What kind of training and experience will the intern receive?
Interns will receive advanced training on the job, exposure to complex projects, live deal-execution experience, and the opportunity to create a network within ING as well as in the wider banking sector.
