Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable
  • Pursuing a degree in data science, mathematics, or engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (spoken/written). French is an asset. Intermediate Proficiency in both Python and C++.
  • Assets:
  • A Background in Statistics, Machine Learning, and Numerical Methods
  • Proficiency in common data science tool/languages such as Pandas, SQL, ETL Pipelines, C#, MATLAB, Databricks

Responsibilities

  • Use knowledge of statistics, engineering, and data science to design and optimize code.
  • Work with team members to design, test, and publish code.
  • Perform exploratory analysis of AI/ML algorithms to improve the accuracy of the results.
