What is the duration of the internship?
The internship will run from June 2, 2025, to August 8, 2025, for a total of ten weeks.
Where is the internship located?
This position will be based out of our Corporate Headquarters in New York, NY.
What is the hourly pay for this internship?
Compensation for this internship will be $25 per hour.
What will be the primary focus of the Legal Intern?
The Legal Intern will support Legal Department attorneys and paralegals in various areas including employment law, data privacy, real estate, commercial contracts, corporate subsidiary governance, ethics and compliance, and intellectual property.
What qualifications are required to apply for this internship?
Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate program, have a strong interest in the legal profession, excellent verbal and written communication skills, accuracy and attention to detail, and a high level of organization with the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
Are there any preferred qualifications for this position?
Yes, experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred for this position.
What kind of tasks will the intern be responsible for?
The intern will assist attorneys in providing legal advice, organizing legal files, scheduling meetings, drafting and proofreading legal documents, conducting legal research, managing budgets, and participating in Legal Department projects.
Is this internship only for legal students?
While the internship is primarily focused on legal matters, it is open to all undergraduate students with a strong interest in the legal profession.
