Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required. Ability to understand basic engineering terminology. College courses in computer or system science, Computer Engineering, or an IT related field.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both orally and written with effective use of visual aids. Should be able to use computing technology for problem analysis and solution.

Responsibilities

  • Jacobs has partnered with NASA to support space flight programs for more than 40 years. While the majority of work is directly in support of LaRC, other industry partners and Government agencies may be supported at remote sites as directed by the Contracting Officer (CO). The Center Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering (CMOE) contract comprises of three major categories of work – operations, maintenance, and engineering (OME).
  • Responsible for significant portion of data analysis on projects of limited scope; identifies data discrepancies, reviews, analyzes, and integrates the technical work of others. Outlines technical approaches, for lower level associates, and checks mathematical work in progress.
  • Assumes reporting responsibility for defined areas, and prepares procedures as required. Assists engineers with presentations, by developing innovative approaches to data display. Works closely with engineers to define/clarify requirements for accomplishment by others. Provides organizational integrity for the group, and effectively utilizes the manpower available for peak productivity. Develops internal procedures to resolve problem areas, and provides an orderly method for work flow.
