Responsibilities

  • As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will work on exciting projects such as driving process improvement. Products include premium 13-amp sockets and switches, which have high volume manufacturing sales, as the number one brand, and are used all across the world in businesses, the leisure industry, education, and healthcare to name but a few.
  • Areas you will be exposed to include electromechanical assemblies, high volume thermo moulding, and pressed parts, metal stampings, auto, semi auto and manual assembly.
  • Once trained, you will facilitate review meetings on your projects
  • Site standardisation
  • Lead change initiatives as well as Kaizen / lean events
  • Project management for site improvement projects
  • Provide status reports
