The candidate for the Mechanical Engineering Intern position at Turion Space (Summer 2024) must have experience with satellite system design, manufacturing, and testing, as well as solid modeling and drawing release of structures and actuator mechanisms. They should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, self-driven entrepreneurial environment and have proficiency in Solidworks and/or ANSYS. Enrollment in a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree program is also required.

The Mechanical Engineering Intern at Turion Space will be responsible for designing, analyzing, manufacturing, and testing structural components and assemblies for vehicles and mechanisms, collaborating with team members to define requirements, conducting structural analysis, coordinating testing and documentation, and identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction.
