Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or any technical/engineering field.
  • 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
  • Full-Time Intern- Must be registered for Full-time Internship Credit
  • Part-Time Intern– Must be registered for 6+ credit hours
  • Experience in 1 or more programming languages
  • Task/team leadership experience
  • Strong math skills and ability to learn complex engineering concepts
  • Familiarity with SysML and other modeling languages
  • Configuration management tools
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas
  • 10–20 hours per week
  • Due to our research contracts with the US federal government, candidates for this position are required to be US Persons.

Responsibilities

  • Will work as part of a team to add value to customer deliverables.
  • The selected candidate will be applying Agile Systems Engineering processes and methodologies to develop Systems Models in support multiple projects.
  • This position will perform sponsored research which applies digital engineering (DE) methodology to produce airworthy (DO-178), modular open systems approach (MOSA) enabled avionics solutions across a wide a variety of defense programs related to Future Vertical Lift (FVL) and Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS).
