Responsibilities

  • Have exposure to work directly with all levels of show supervision
  • Receive mentorship for modeling assets from art, scans, photography or just a verbal brief
  • Be guided through shot corrective modeling for costume and other assets such as creatures or robots
  • Help maintain libraries for model and texture assets
  • Perform quality control checks for assets built by external vendors
  • Assist the DMS supervisors with any one-off tasks
  • Gather reference for your assets when needed
  • Manage your own time between working on multiple projects
  • Be one of a small team of Jedi’s from multiple disciplines
  • Strengthen professional habits, including best practices for presenting work in dailies, working as a team, and communicating effectively
  • Gain knowledge and appreciation of ILM’s culture and history
