What is the role of an Online Sales Photographer Volunteer?

Do I need to be a professional photographer to apply?
No, you do not need to be a pro. Even novice photographers can quickly learn to take the right shots with the support and training provided.
What types of items will I be photographing?
You will photograph a wide range of items including clothing, homeware, books, vintage collectables, toys, and more.
Is this position paid?
No, this is an unpaid voluntary position.
Are there any age restrictions for volunteering?
Yes, we are unable to accept volunteers aged under 16 or those with unspent criminal convictions.
What benefits do volunteers receive?
Volunteers receive a 25% discount on donated goods, a 10% discount on new goods, access to training, support services, reasonable travel expense reimbursement, refreshments, and volunteer certificates, references, and awards.
How often am I expected to volunteer?
You can volunteer as little as a few hours a week or just a couple of hours occasionally, based on your availability.
Will I receive any training?
Yes, you will receive plenty of support and training to help you succeed in your role as a photographer.
How do I submit the photographs I take?
You will help upload the photos onto the online selling platform after capturing them.
Can I use my own camera or smartphone for photography?
Yes, you can use your own smartphone or a camera provided by the organization for taking photographs.
