What is the duration of the Paralegal Apprenticeship?
The Paralegal Apprenticeship lasts for two years.
Where is the apprenticeship based?
The apprenticeship is based in our Plymouth office.
What qualifications do I need to be eligible for the apprenticeship?
You need 5 x GCSEs at A-C/9-4 including Maths and English, and a minimum of three A levels at grade C or equivalent.
Is the apprenticeship open to those who already have a Law degree or similar qualifications?
No, the apprenticeship is not open to those who already have a Law degree, Graduate Diploma in Law, or have previous experience as a lawyer or paralegal.
What support will I receive during the apprenticeship?
You will receive support from a Supervisor who will help with your studies, and a mentor who is an experienced Paralegal dedicated to your learning.
What type of training will I receive during the apprenticeship?
You will receive a broad variety of quality legal training, including both hands-on experience and online teaching resources from CILEX Law School.
What does the 20% off-the-job training mean?
The 20% off-the-job training typically equates to one day a week dedicated to studying for your Level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship.
When is the application window for the apprenticeship?
The application window is open from Monday, 10 February to Friday, 14 March 2025.
What is the timeline for the selection process after applying?
After applications close on 14 March, you'll complete a blended high potential assessment, and if eligible, be invited for a work placement week during the Easter holidays.
