  • This Summer Internship is from May/June through August 30th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in the specified location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university. A hybrid work structure may or may not be available. 

Department Description:

  • The People Transformation Intern will work within the People & Organization (P&O)/Human Resources group at Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) to implement improvement projects and initiatives to drive operational excellence and effectiveness of the P&O Team. The People Transformation Team collaborates globally across across SPE to leverage Continuous Improvement, Data & Analytics and Change Management to implement solutions to transform our ways of working.


  • Working toward a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficiency with various Microsoft tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intellectual curiosity with a keenness to learn new skills and expand capabilities
  • A problem-solver constantly looking for ways to work efficiently
  • Exercise discretion and good judgment, and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of HR processes and/or systems
  • Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Agile
  • Experience with process mapping sofware such as LucidChart or Visio

  • Assist in documenting standardized procedures and workflows for various HR tasks
