Responsibilities

  • Pharmacy Intern performs the technical aspects of medication preparation, distribution, record keeping and inventory control under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Tasks are subject to sequential or final verification by a registered pharmacist. His/her duties involve a variety of work, performed under standard operating procedures including direct patient interaction, patient counseling and medication reconciliation. Work involves mental and visual attention, accuracy and moderate pressure while working at a rapid pace under frequent deadlines and frequent interruptions and distractions.
  • Ideal candidates will have some pharmacy experience, outstanding customer service abilities, ability to multi task and be on your feet for long periods of time. Candidates will possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
