Requirements

  • Pursuing PhD Degree in relevant discipline(s) (CS, CE, EE, Physics, Math) or equivalent experience. 
  • 1+ years of relevant industrial and University experience preferred (hardware, software, networking).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • A proven track record of research and publication in top-tier conferences (ISCA, HPCA, NSDI, etc.).
  • Strong programming ability in C/C++ and Python is required.
  • Knowledge of SLURM architecture
  • Experience with any data-center scale management software
  • Experience in data-center scale data collection and analysis
  • Experience in power management techniques
  • What We’d like to See:
  • Experience in optimization, resource allocation, scheduling, defragmentation and / or tiling problems

Responsibilities

  • Develop algorithms, and design hardware and software to extend the current state of the art in computing, networking, and other technology areas critical to NVIDIA's core business.
  • Invent new techniques, technologies, methodologies, processes, and devices to foster new products or product categories. Deliverable results include prototypes, patents, and contributions leading to new products and publications.
  • Focus on envisioning future technology for products 1-5 years ahead, rather than on current or in-development products, except to consider their potential extensions and improvements.
