Responsibilities

  • Work cross functionally across a wide range of global stakeholders to support with the continued development of new and existing Cummins products.
  • Develop advanced problem solving skills by designing, testing, analysing and assessing components.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders by raising test requests, participating in team meetings and presenting test data and conclusions (Technical Reviews,) contributing to follow up problem solving sessions discussing how to improve components and process flows.
  • Assisting in the concept design, development and testing of future turbo machine technology as part of an innovative and fast paced team at the forefront of turbocharger technology.
  • Develop knowledge of the internal workings of a turbocharger by being directly involved in the strip down, inspection and failure analysis of returned field units, or units that have completed tests.
  • Direct involvement in key research, investigative or customer issue resolution work, including researching and analysing new materials, developing new test techniques and evaluating concepts.
