Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a large volume of pitches in a fast paced environment
  • Major in – or strong experience in – a storytelling medium (theater, film, podcasting, literature, creative writing)
  • A wide range of interests/curiosity about the world
  • Knowledge of and/or strong interest in learning about the podcast industry

Responsibilities

  • Manage pitch submissions inbox
  • Organize submissions and track status and prioritization of pitches
  • Support and work closely with senior development managers
  • Schedule pitch meetings and follow ups
  • Review and evaluate pitch decks, audio samples, pilot episodes, and existing shows
  • Conduct market research associated with inbound opportunities
  • Learn about iHeartPodcast Network’s development process from pitch through green lighting
  • Participate in development meetings
